FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at testing housing of bladed machine rotors for damage containing ability and investigation of impact actions on said housings. Method comes to spinning rotor arranged inside fixed housing to preset revolutions at which break off of blade with striking of blade against housing takes place. Then damage containing ability of housing is evaluated by traces of impact. Prior to testing, cross section of blade feather in near-lock part is weakened by cross cutting of blade and ports are made in blade feather. Posts in blade feather are arranged so that weakened section be within the limits of port height and stress concentrator-cut is made in weakened section. Heat-sensitive loading members are installed and secured in places free from weakening cut used to apply load to sides of ports. When rotor attains preset revolutions, blade with heat-sensitive loading members is heated. Device includes rotor with blades arranged inside housing, drive for spinning the rotor, rotation control system and blade with system of heating. Cut is made in near-lock part in feather of blade to break off and ports are made in said feather which form middle and edge bridges. Section in which blade feather is to break is within the limits of height of port, and heat-sensitive loading members and compensating inserts are arranged in said ports. Stress concentrator-cut is made in places free from weakening cut of blade feather. Material of heat-sensitive loading members is chosen so that linear expansion coefficient of said material is higher than of blade material. ^ EFFECT: reduced labor input, increased reliability of results of tests. ^ 7 cl, 2 dwg
