A dissection tip comprises a hollow shroud 24 that defines a working cavity 30 with two laterally extending flanges 32. The dissection tip terminates with blunt surface 28. An endoscope 42 may be housed within the tip to enable the user to view the dissection remotely, whilst slot 46 allows the introduction of further instruments into the working cavity. The flanges help to provide sufficient space in the working cavity to perform dissection within tissue in which no natural cavities exist. |
