COVER ASSEMBLY FOR HARD DISK DRIVE HAVING THE SAME

A cover assembly of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) is provided to have a damper capable of effectively buffering impact provided from the outside to a cover member. A cover member(112) has an edge part(113) protruded and formed at a certain height along an edge of an upper surface of the cover member(112). A damping plate(114) is disposed in an upper surface of the cover member(112). A damper(115) absorbs and buffers impact provided to the edge part(113) of the cover member(112). The damper(115) has a supporting part(115a) and a protrusion(115b). The supporting part(115a), inserted between a lower surface of an edge part of the damping plate(114) and the upper surface of the cover member(112), supports the damping plate(114). The protrusion(115b) is extended and formed from the supporting part(115a) to be protruded upward through a gap between the edge part(113) and the damping plate(114).
