A system and a method for an automatic billing service using the mobile network are provided to enable a user to pay a fare for using subway, highway, and a bus with a mobile terminal based on location information by checking the precise location information of the mobile terminal. A PAN(Personal Area Network) coordinator(15) periodically transmits a beacon signal including ID information to a management area by being installed to each gate of the subway and the highway. The mobile terminal(10) includes the ID information of the PAN coordinator and the mobile terminal to a location registration message, and transmits the message to a location registration server(25) if entry in the management area of the PAN coordinator is checked by receiving the beacon signal. The location registration server stores the location information of each PAN coordinator and entrance/exit discriminating information to a database, and checks a location and departure/arrival of the mobile terminal by searching the ID information of the PAN coordinator included in the location registration message from the database. |
