An interface between a GPS(Geographic Position System) terminal and a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to isolate a speaker line from an earth wire in the audio cables of the interface, thereby providing good sound quality to subscribers. A GPS terminal(101) receives map information of a destination transmitted through a satellite on the basis of location tracking. A mobile terminal(105) displays the map information of the GPS terminal(101). An interface comprises an audio cable transmitting an audio signal, inputted through a speaker and a microphone between the GPS terminal and a mobile terminal, and a cable for data and charging, and isolates a speaker line from an earth wire in the GPS terminal and isolates a speaker line from an earth wire in the mobile terminal in order to remove noise component generated by a potential difference of each earth wire of the audio cable and the cable for data and charging.
