An assembly-type animal breeding cage is provided to reduce the weight by making rear and side walls of water-resistant and chemical-resistant lightweight resin plates. The assembly-type animal breeding cage(1) is composed of side walls(3) made of water-resistant and chemical-resistant lightweight resin plates, erectly installed to a rear wall at a predetermined gap, and equipped with the entrance; upper and lower net plates(15,16) mounted at upper and lower net plate guide rails(18,19) horizontally installed at the upper and lower sides of the side walls in parallel; a front net plate(17) installed to front net plate guide rails vertically mounted to the side walls formed at each outside of the upper and lower net plate guide rails and then locked up by a locking mechanism to prevent the upper and lower net plates from being separated from the upper and lower net plate guide rails about the inner center of the side wall; and a sliding door(5) guided along the guide rails installed at the upper and lower parts of the entrance to open and close the entrance.
