SCROLL MAINTENANCE STRUCTURE OF SCROLL COMPRESSOR FOR AUTOMOBILE

A scroll support structure of a scroll compressor for a vehicle is provided to reduce friction loss by minimizing a contact area of a movable scroll and a surface of a housing, and to improve durability by increasing strength of molding material and self-lubrication efficiency. A scroll compressor includes a compression chamber faced to a fixed scroll, and a movable scroll(30) supported by a housing and eccentrically turned in the housing. A trust plate is inserted between the movable scroll and the housing, and plural grooves(33) are formed radially in a contact surface of the movable scroll and the trust plate. A molding is formed in the groove, and the movable scroll is contacted and supported to a surface of the trust plate by the molding. Thermal Expansion Coefficient of the molding is at least twice larger than thermal expansion coefficient of the surface of the movable scroll. The molding is formed not to be protruded or recessed in the surface of the movable scroll.
