The invention relates to a method for preparing a hybrid organic-inorganic photoactive semiconductor material consisting of a semiconductor oxide and a semiconductor polymer. Said method is characterised in that it comprises a step for forming the polymer in situ on the surface of the semiconductor oxide by photopolymerisation without the application of an external potential. The invention also relates to the material thus produced, and to the use thereof for photovoltaic cells and superconductors.
