The device has moving carriages revolving on overhead rails (6, 7) supported by posts (69) and integrated with arms (31) carrying an electromagnet (32) which controls a folding arm. The folding arm is equipped with ribbons which are connected to the arm of opposite carriage. Posts placed apart from a track are closer than opposite posts that are arranged opposite to a starter at a place where competitors regroup. Parallel forward movement of the carriages is controlled by a control box.
