The method involves calculating a reference point that is an estimation of a vector, and determining a vector corresponding to a singular vector of a matrix. A line is determined which passes via the reference point and having a specific direction vector. A point of intersection between the line and a hyperplane of a space is determined. The intersection point is projected on an array so as to generate an examining point of the array. A point is determined which is a final estimation from the intersection point. An independent claim is also included for a decoding module implementing a vector signal decoding method.
