ELECTRIC WIRE FOR AUTOMOBILE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire for an automobile with excellent flex resistance and shock resistance, sufficient abrasion resistance and good workability for forming a harness while attaining thin diameter of a conductor.

SOLUTION: In forming this electric wire for the automobile by covering an element-wire 1 comprising a plurality of stranded wires 2 with an insulating layer 3, the element wire 1 is made of a copper alloy containing tin of 0.05-0.7 mass% and has wire diameter of 0.05-0.12 mm, and it is made to have extension ratio of 15% or more and tensile strength of 250 MPa or more by annealing in a wire drawing step, and the stranded wire 2 is formed by twisting ten or more of the element wires 1 with a pitch which is 30 to 50 times of an outer diameter of the stranded wire.
