<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish broadcasting or content distribution for enabling a user to utilize a distribution service without installing any dedicated equipment provided from a pay broadcast or content provider by preventing unauthorized viewing of the pay broadcast or contents distributed by multicasting, regarding a multicast distribution system, user equipment and distribution server therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the multicast distribution system for distributing a pay broadcast and contents from a distribution server 1 to user equipment by multicasting, the distribution server encrypts distribution data using a common key individually for the unit of a distribution service channel and performs multicast distribution, any distribution service is selected by accessing the distribution server 1 from the user equipment 4' using a WEB browser, the common key of the selected distribution service is distributed from a WEB page to the user equipment 4' and in the user equipment 4', the multicast distributed broadcast or content distribution data are decrypted by the common key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
