POWER TRANSMISSION OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission which is provided with a vehicle crossing axle extending through a case of the power transmission which can be installed to various automobile types in simple mode and at the same time includes compact construction.

SOLUTION: The power transmission of the vehicle distributes drive torque of a transmission input shaft 13 to at least two of vehicle crossing axle 4;4X;4Y;4Z;5. There are disposed a plurality of transmission elements 16 or 25 for forming various gear ratios within the case 11 between the transmission input shaft and a transmission output shaft 15. One of the vehicle crossing axle extends through internal space 10 of the case. In domain of cross section surface perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the power transmission 3, there is disposed the vehicle crossing axle guided to penetrate the case. There are disposed electrical devices 45, 56:45Y, 46Y which are fixed on at least one case side and/or at least part of temperature control device 47 which is fixed on the case side.
