<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed power unit where stress added to a natrium-sulfur battery at waiting is small. <P>SOLUTION: This distributed power unit 7 is composed of an AC-DC converter which converts AC power and DC power bidirectionally and is installed between a premise bus and a DC circuit, and a distributed power unit which is charged with DC power or from which DC power is discharged and connected to the DC power circuit. In this case, it is equipped with a diode 22 whose direction from a distributed power source to a DC circuit is forward between the distributed power source and the DC circuit, and a switch which is shut when charging or discharging the distributed power source and is opened at waiting, in parallel with the diode 22 between the distributed power source and the DC circuit, and an AC-DC converter controls a voltage so that the voltage of the DC circuit is boosted higher than the terminal voltage of the distributed power source at waiting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
