<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a resistance value in a chip resistor comprising a chip resistor 12 made as a rectangular alloy made of a high resistance metal and a low resistor metal and a connection electrode 13 provided to both ends of the rear of this resistor without increasing the mass. <P>SOLUTION: A chip resistor 11 forms a plate skin 15 on the rear of a resistor 12 by using a pure metal whose resistance is lower than that of an alloy constituting the resistor 12 and a connection terminal electrode 13 serves as a metal one whose resistance is lower than that of the alloy constituting the resistor. In addition, a portion 13 between both connection terminal electrodes at the rear of the resistor 12 is coated with an insulating material and has a low resistance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
