<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pass a POF cable through a facility tube containing an existent cable. <P>SOLUTION: The POF cable 11 provided with a coating layer in contact with outer peripheries of at least two POFs is passed through a CD tube 10 having a designated internal diameter even after the existent cable is lined. A linear body for traction is already run in the CD tube 10 and the POF cable 11 is connected to one end of the linear body for traction and passed by pulling the linear body for traction. The POF cable 11 is applied with tension of≤100N in its conveying direction. A lubricant is applied by a coating device to the outer periphery of the POF cable 11 right before the cable is passed. Even when the CD tube 10 is structured having many bent portions arranged, the lubricity is improved and the POF cable 11 can be passed without being broken. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
