<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to flexibly select either of operation, in which priority is given to a speed required for automatic focusing adjustment, and operation, in which priority is given to the display for object confirmation, corresponding to a state during photographing when executing the automatic focusing adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The camera device executes AF processing by utilizing pixel data obtained from a CCD 12. A control part 25 switches control, which allows the camera device to display a through-image by making the pixel data be transferred by all-pixel driving having horizontal addition with the CCD 12, and control, which does not allow the camera device to display the through-image but allows it to execute the AF processing in a short period of time by making the pixel data be transferred by partial segment driving having a shorter transfer time of the pixel data than that of in the case of the all-pixel driving having horizontal addition, during the AF processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
