<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game simulation program and a gaming machine having a game mode of a regular slot game and capable of executing a game in a game mode with an utterly different taste from the slot game when a specific identification information image is stationarily displayed. <P>SOLUTION: This game simulation program allows a computer to executes: a display control function which is capable of variably displaying the identification information image on a display area of a display means, when the specific identification image is stationarily displayed, displaying a plural kinds of blocks displayed in a stacked manner on a display area, and when the blocks which are arranged next to each other turn out to be the same kind, eliminates the blocks which are arranged next to each other; a block selecting function receiving the operation of a player to select a predetermined kind of blocks and eliminating the blocks, and a game medium awarding function awarding the predetermined number of game mediums to a player in accordance with the number of blocks which are eliminated on the display.
