PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of preventing so much enlargement of the scale of the device even when a plurality of semiconductor lasers are employed. SOLUTION: The laser device obtains a laser output through an optical resonator by exciting through the incidence of semiconductor laser beam for excitation from the direction of side surface of a laser crystal 6. A plurality of semiconductor lasers 1-1, 1-2 are provided for making the outgoing of semiconductor laser beams for excitation. The optical axes of the plurality of semiconductor lasers 1-1, 1-2 are set in parallel to a fundamental optical axis, while an optical path changing means 7 is provided for changing the optical path of semiconductor laser beam from at least one semiconductor layer between the plurality of semiconductor lasers 1-1, 1-2 with respect to the fundamental optical axis. The incidence of semiconductor laser beam, whose optical path is changed by the optical path changing means 7, is effected into the laser crystal 6 from the direction of side surface of the laser crystal 6 with an angle different from the beams of semiconductor laser whose optical path is not changed.
