PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring up an input rotation speed near a target maximum rotation speed in upshift when high acceleration of an fully-opened accelerator to satisfy acceleration request of a driver, regardless of variation in output performance caused by such as individual difference of an engine, aging effect, and difference in used fuel. SOLUTION: Since a reference rotation change rateΔNTwot is calculated based on an actual input torque T<SB>IN</SB>, the reference rotation change rateΔNTwot becomes close to a change rate of the turbine rotation speed NT regardless of engine output performance caused by such as difference in used fuel. A gear shift point nomchg when opening fully is changed so that a virtual maximum rotation speed gntista and a target maximum rotation speed ntm match, so that an actual turbine rotation speed NT reaches near the target maximum rotation speed ntm.
