PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sensor for detecting impact with high accuracy having excellent noise resistance and generating little mechanical deterioration caused by an impact. SOLUTION: The optical fiber sensor 10 for detecting a change of an optical loss caused by deformation received by a synthetic resin optical fiber 1 by allowing light to pass the synthetic resin optical fiber 1 is equipped with an elastic structure 3 provided with a hole 2 to be passed by the synthetic resin optical fiber 1, the synthetic resin optical fiber 1 inserted into the hole 2 of the elastic structure 3, a board-like member 4 provided in the elastic structure 3 along the longitudinal direction of the synthetic resin optical fiber 1, and a projecting member 4a provided at a fixed interval with the board-like member 4 and brought into contact with the side of the synthetic resin optical fiber 1.
