PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle communications apparatus and narrow road pass-through support system, capable of supporting passing through a road where passing each other is difficult for vehicles, using inter-vehicle communication. SOLUTION: Spreading codes for transmission different from each other are assigned, respectively to each of one-lane roads and two-lane roads (2A, 2B), and each of vehicles transmits information to the other vehicle, after changing the spreading code for transmission into the spreading code for transmission assigned to the road, whereon the present vehicle is located. Thus, even when more vehicles B-H, oncoming from the opposite directions, continuously travel, each of vehicles present on each of roads transmits information using each of spreading codes for transmission different from each other, assigned for each road, so that radio interferences among the vehicles are eliminated and also communication channel will no longer be lacking.
