PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized piezo oscillator having precisely adjustable oscillation frequency, and a method of manufacturing the piezo oscillator with reduced manufacturing man-hours. SOLUTION: While an oscillating piece is formed, a formed piezo-electric substrate has on its front and rear surface a formed metal film. The piezo-electric oscillator is configured with circuits for oscillation mounted to the mentioned piezo-electric substrate. Thereby, a manufacturing man-hour can be reduced since a process for mounting the oscillating piece is no longer necessary, and since the oscillating piece can be excited by the mounted circuits for oscillation, the oscillated frequency can be adjusted with sufficient precision.
