PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for an internal combustion engine being suitable for creating intake sound being comfortable for a vehicle driver and to provide a tuning method for intake sound. SOLUTION: At least two air ducts 14a, 14b having different resonance frequencies are provided on the upstream side of an air cleaner 20. When resonance frequency of main sound is 1, the air ducts 14a, 14b have resonance frequencies expressed by any ratio of 1/1, 16/15, 17/16, 18/17, 25/24, 9/8, 10/9, 6/5, 5/4, 4/3, 17/12, 24/17, 25/18, 36/25, 45/32, 64/45, 3/2, 8/5, 5/3, 27/16, 9/5, 16/9, 30/17, 15/8, and 2/1, respectively.
