PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator interlock device for preventing starting of an automobile in a forgotten state of releasing of the parking brake. SOLUTION: This device has a parking brake detection means for detecting an operation or a release of the parking brake, an interlock mechanism for regulating stepping of an accelerator pedal, and a control means for operating the interlock mechanism when operating the parking brake.
