PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivating method for efficiently improving sunshine insufficiency, extending duration of sunshine and promoting growth of stems and roots, paying attention to elements of red, blue and yellow light. SOLUTION: This plant cultivating method is composed of auxiliary light sources 3 and 4 irradiating to plants 8 and a sunshine taking-in window 1 provided above the plants 8 and taking in the sun. The auxiliary light sources 3 and 4 comprise a lot of red LEDs 3 and blue LEDs 4, and expose sunshine to the plants in fine weather, irradiate red LED 3 in cloudy weather and irradiate red LED 3 and blue LED 4 in rainy weather.
