PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage level detector for a grass-collecting container, equipped with a swing sensor operated to be lowered and swung due to cut grass pressurizing action and a detective switch operated by the swing sensor, and facilitate operation of adjusting grass storage level to be constant in high accuracy irrespective of changing a set storage level and/or the change in cut grass weight. SOLUTION: The storage level detector for a grass-collecting container has the following construction and mechanism: Elevation control of a detector mounting body 41 supporting the swing sensor 52 to a lid 40 along the bolt hole 72 of the lid 40 allows the swing sensor 52 to vertically change its position relative to the grass-collecting container. The basal end side of a sensitivity controller 62 is supported turnably on a supporting shaft 64 and the tip side is supported on the recessed part 68b of a control guide 65. An operational part 66 provided at the intermediate part of the controller 62 and serving also as spring hooking is operated to be elevated.
