PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for hooking a fishing line readily attaching the fishing line without easily removing the fishing line during use. SOLUTION: The tool 20 for hooking the fishing line in which a tip top line 14 is engaged to compose the tip of a fishing rod is freely rotatably provided around the axis at the tip of the rod body 12 and is provided with a tip top member 22 extended in the axial direction. A guide member 30 fixed in the crossing direction with the axial line in the tip top member 22 and having a guide hole 32 passing through the axial direction is arranged in the tip of the tip top member 22. One end 42 of a hook member 40 is fixed to the tip top member 22 and the other end 44 is kept in such a state as to be directed to the side opposite to the side where the guide member 30 is arranged.
