<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition exhibiting high curing sensitivity and giving an image of good image qualities, an inkjet recording method and a printed matter, and to provide a lithographic printing plate capable of recording an image free from blotting, highly sensitive, and exhibiting high adhesion to a recording medium, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises (a) a cationically polymerizable compound, (b) at least one disulfone compound represented by general formula (I): Ar<SP>1</SP>-SO<SB>2</SB>-SO<SB>2</SB>-Ar<SP>2</SP>(wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are each independently an optionally substituted aryl group, a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group or a heteroaryl group) as a compound generating an acid by radiation irradiation and, optionally (c) a coloring material. The inkjet recording method comprises using the ink composition. The printed matter comprises the ink composition on a recording medium.
