<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration support program for inexpensively supporting highly accurate calibration and to provide a composite device. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 2 of a print system PS calculates a present gamma curve of a printer mechanism section on the basis of density values of an image file and a reference chart 11 as processes of a calibration support program installed on the computer 2 , transmits the gamma curve to a composite device 1 of a calibration object, and the composite device 1 executes calibration of the printer mechanism section on the basis of the gamma curve, wherein the density values are obtained from a scanner mechanism section of the composite device 1 that reads the reference chart whose calibration density value is known for the printer mechanism printed out by the printer mechanism section and a color measurement chart 10 printed out by the printer mechanism section at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
