<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication statistic information collection apparatus capable of collecting the number of discarded packets, the number of discarded bytes and discarded factors as statistic information in addition to the number of transferred packets and the number of transferred bytes as statistic information by packet flows. <P>SOLUTION: The communication statistic information collection apparatus includes: a flow table searching section for searching a flow entry corresponding to a searching key from a flow table; a statistic collection processing section for collecting statistic information including factors to be discarded for each transfer type as to whether to transfer or discard each different flow and packet; a control section for generating a packet for notifying the collection apparatus of accumulated statistic information; and an entry management section for updating a flow table by allocating a flow identification number when an unregistered flow arrives at the flow table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
