<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life image display device without causing a display defect by preventing a dielectric breakdown failure between a lower electrode and an upper electrode (upper electrode power feed line) constituting a thin-film type electron source. <P>SOLUTION: The lower electrodes 11, tunnel insulation films 12 and the upper electrodes 13 are formed on a cathode substrate 10. The upper electrode power feed line 16 is formed on the lower layer of the upper electrodes 13, and the upper electrodes 13 are surely connected to the upper electrode power feed line 16 on connection electrodes 15. A field insulation layer 12A, an interlayer insulation film lower layer 14a formed by a spattering, and an interlayer insulation film upper layer 14b formed by application are stacked among the upper electrode 13, the connection electrode 15 and the lower electrode 11 to insulate the lower electrode 11 from the upper electrode 13 (the upper electrode power feed line 16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
