<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can reduce a load of maintenance, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An exposure device 20 is equipped with an exposure head H, and a guide rail GL which guides the exposure head H in a direction of an arrow mark Y. A plurality of light emitting parts Ha for exposure with a plurality of organic EL elements 33 formed and arranged thereat are formed in the long-side direction at predetermined intervals in the exposure head H.
