PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer ceramic capacitor including an internal electrode that is formed by a metal having a melting point permitting simultaneous calcination with a dielectric, the dielectric and an external electrode, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A multi-layer ceramic capacitor includes a plurality of dielectric sheets; a plurality of internal electrodes each comprising a metal of a nano-size having a melting point permitting simultaneous calcination with the dielectric as the quality of a material, and formed between the dielectric layers in such a manner that each of one end is exposed to one end face of the dielectric layer; and external electrodes that are electrically connected with one-side ends of the exposed internal electrodes. The multi-layer ceramic capacitor has a thin thickness, and is capable of calcining the internal electrodes and the dielectrics at the same time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
