PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for suitably recovering a file returned from the other party and easily grasping the progress. SOLUTION: This file reciprocating system comprises a reciprocating request receiving means 101 receiving a file reciprocating request including an other party identifier for identifying the other party, and a sent file; a sent file transmitting means 10 for transmitting the sent file toward the other party identified by the other party identifier included in the file reciprocating demand; a reply address transmitting means 103 for transmitting a reply address of a reply file toward the other party along with processing of transmitting the sent file; a reply file receiving means 104 receiving the reply file returned from the other party toward the reply address; a reply file storing means 105 for storing the received reply file; a log recording means 106 recording progress information on whether each of the other parties has returned the reply file; and a progress information transmitting means 107 for transmitting recorded progress information toward a transmitting source.
