PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basic input/output control system capable of performing an automatic operation and a remote control in a computer device to be used by switching a boot device. SOLUTION: This basic input/output control system(BIOS) is provided with: a plurality of BIOS-ROMa-c (9-1 to 9-3) being a storage means for storing the order of the boot devices of a computer device 1; and a CPU 2 as a control means for booting the computer device according to the order of the boot devices stored in one BIOS-ROM selected from the plurality of BIOS-ROMs. A BIOS switching control part 7 sets one selected BIOS-ROM as a next BIOS-ROM in booting the computer device prior to the shut-down or reboot of the computer device when the OS of the computer device is booted.
