PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving heat exchange performance while reducing the size and the noise. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger 10 constituted by combining a front surface side heat exchanger 1 and a back surface side heat exchanger 2 in a reverse V shape, a heat exchange amount of the front surface side heat exchanger 1 is larger than that of the back surface side heat exchanger 2. Concretely, a number of heat transmitting pipes 21 included in a passage R1 passing through the back surface side heat exchanger 2 is larger than a number of the heat transmitting pipes 21 included in passages R2 and R3 passing through the front side heat exchanger 1.
