PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improving the freshness of foods stored in a vegetable chamber while securing the capacity of an ice making chamber and keeping the vegetable chamber highly humid even in summer when the door opening/closing frequency of a refrigerating chamber is increased. SOLUTION: A first cooler 8 cools a refrigerating sliding chamber 3 and a refrigerating chamber 2, and a second cooler 16 cools the ice making chamber 4, a freezing sliding chamber 6, the vegetable chamber 7 and a freezing chamber 5, excluding the refrigerating chamber. Cold air is circulated directly into the vegetable chamber 7 via a damper 21. Thus, even when the door opening/closing frequencies of the refrigerating sliding chamber 3 and the refrigerating chamber 2 are increased and warm moisture flows into the refrigerating sliding chamber 3 and the refrigerating chamber 2, the second cooler 16 for cooling the ice making chamber 4 secures the capability of the ice making chamber 4 without being affected thereby. Besides, the cold air is circulated directly into the vegetable chamber to stably cool the vegetable chamber while reducing dew condensation in the vegetable chamber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
