PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having supplying property of lubricant by splashing, and compatibility with a tapered roller bearing, and maintaining constant vibration resistance and constant impact resistance for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing comprises: an outer ring 12 having an annular outer ring raceway surface 12g formed along an axial direction; an inner ring 14 having an annular inner ring raceway surface 14g formed to be opposed to the outer ring raceway surface and along the axial direction; a plurality of rollers 16 arranged between the outer ring raceway surface and the inner ring raceway surface to be capable of rolling; and cages 18a, 18b, 24 holding the plurality of rollers to be capable of rotating. At least one side face (for example, a side face 12b) of both side faces of the outer ring, and at least one side face (for example, a side face 14b) of both side faces of the inner ring are positioned to be relatively shifted in the axial direction by a predetermined amount, so that an opening part 22 is formed in a space area between the side face of the outer ring and the side face of the inner ring.
