PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage basin capable of achieving original purpose of an internal auxiliary pipe for preventing scattering of sewage and wear of the drainage basin and preventing flow of drainage flowing in an invert part from being obstructed. SOLUTION: This drainage basin 1 is composed of the invert part 3 for connecting drainage main pipes 13, 13 with opposing wall faces, respectively, a riser 4 connected with a rising part 15 formed upward and integrally in the invert part 3, a cylindrical adjuster 5 connected with the riser 4 and provided with a connection part 8 for connecting a drainage branch pipe 14, a lid receiving frame part 6 mounted in an upper end part of the adjuster 5, and a lid 7 mounted in the lid receiving frame part 6 openably and closably and is formed by synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride resin. The internal auxiliary pipe 2 is attached to the inside of the drainage basin 1, swells in accordance with flow rate and/or flowing force to let drainage pass through when the drainage flows in from the drainage branch pipe 14, and makes the direction of flow of drainage agree with the direction of flow of drainage flowing in the drainage main pipes 13.
