PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall material having novel workability, and forming the waterproof function, the thermal insulation function, the airtight function, the condensation preventive function, or the like. SOLUTION: This outer wall material is composed of a metallic outer wall material B for forming an insertion piece 9 for projecting the tip to the lower side by inwardly projecting the lower side tip vicinity of a decorative surface 4 by forming a projection piece 13 by projecting the upper side tip of the decorative surface 4 to the upper side, and a fixture F composed of a substantially horizontal plane-shaped fixing piece, a locking piece for outwardly bending the lower end of the fixing piece and bending the tip to the upper side, a locking groove composed of the locking piece and the fixing piece and a fitting groove formed by inwardly bending the upper end of the fixing piece and folding back the tip to the lower side. The fitting groove of the fixture F is inserted into and supported by the projection piece 13 of the metallic outer wall material B, and an upper end part of the metallic outer wall material B is fixed by fixing the fixing piece of the fixture F by a fixture, and a lower end part of the metallic outer wall material B is fixed by engaging with the locking groove of the fixture F.
