PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for an organic electroluminescent element, driven by a low voltage and having high emission efficiency; and to provide the organic electroluminescent element using the material. SOLUTION: The material for the organic electroluminescent element contains a copolymer having a unit represented by general formula [2] (wherein, R1to R7are each a binding site or the like; and X is a direct bond or the like), a unit having an amino group, and a unit having an electron-transporting group.
