PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-formed pack of rice saving a trouble of weighing the rice each time without degrading freshness and hygiene of rice and offering an antipollution measure by using paper. SOLUTION: A package of the stick-formed pack of rice is made of paper hardly permeable to moisture and open air. Three types of packs, including 1 gou (approximately 180 cc), 2 gous and 3 gous are available, and carefully selected several kinds of polished rice are packaged. Slightly thick paper is used for a paper case for putting in the stick-formed packs, and a handle is provided for carrying. A paper plate is placed to prevent the bottom from falling out.
