PDE4 inhibition is achieved by novel nitroxide compounds, e.g., N-substituted aniline and diphenylamine analogs. The compounds of the present invention are of Formulas I-III: wherein A, B, D, R¹, R², R³, R⁷, R⁸, R⁹, R¹⁰ and R⁶ are as defined herein.
