<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming range designating method capable of easily designating even in a device having only a small displaying means and a simple instruction operating means. <P>SOLUTION: In the image trimming range designating method for displaying an original image in the displaying means and cutting out an image within a desired range from the displayed original image, a lattice image is displayed while overlapped on the original image displayed in the displaying means, and cells of the lattice image are selected to thereby designate an image range to be cut out of the original image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
