<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display image data, in a state where the image data conforms to effective display ranges of both display screens of a main LCD and an external (video) monitor when any one of them is used, when the photographed and recorded image data are simultaneously displayed on the main LCD and the external monitor, in a digital camera provided with the main LCD. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera has two systems of display control circuits 17a, 18a, 19 of a main LCD system and display control circuits 17b, 18b, 21 of an external monitor system, and has resolution conversion sections (1) 18a and (2) 18b for converting the image size of display image data G, corresponding to the image size of their output targets (LCD display section 20 and external monitor 22) for each system. The image G, subjected to resolution conversion by the conversion section (1) 18a, is outputted to the LCD display section 20 as an LCD image display signal, and the image G, subjected to resolution conversion by the conversion section (2) 18b, is outputted to the external monitor 22 as a video image display signal, in matching with a vertical synchronization signal V to be commonly generated by a V synchronization generating section 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
