<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of: reducing a total cost in association with formation of a recessed part for adjusting the position; efficiently forming the recessed part for adjusting the position; and improving a yield, and to provide a holder for the optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element has a 1st groove 17 which is provided extendedly from one end part in the direction of optical axis 8 on an outer peripheral face toward a side of an another end part, and a 2nd groove 21 which is provided extendedly from the above another end part toward a side of the above one end part and communicated with the 1st groove 17, and the recessed part 16 for adjusting the position is provided on a communicating section between the 1st groove 17 and the 2nd groove 21, then it is arranged so that the formation using only two metal molds such as the metal mold 26 for forming the section of the 1st groove 17 side and the metal mold 27 for forming the section of the 2nd groove 21 side is enabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
