<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system allowing impurities present in a discharge passage to be surely removed regardless of whether a fuel cell is being operated or stopped. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1 is so structured that an impurity remover 24 for removing impurities mixed in a fluid is arranged in the discharge passage for running the fluid discharged from the fuel cell 10. The fuel cell system is provided with: an impurity quantity detector 30 for detecting the quantity of impurities present in the discharge passage; and a flow control device 40 for controlling the flow of the fluid supplied/discharged to/from the fuel cell 10 based on the detection value detected by the impurity quantity detector 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
