<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute collection data in a specified period in a short time in a data summarization device for storing data sent at random and computing collection data obtained by collecting data in a period specified. <P>SOLUTION: The data collection device comprises a cumulative data creation part for creating cumulative data where collection data in every first predetermined period (one day) as the unit of period specification accumulates sequentially as every first period passes for a second predetermined period (one month) comprising a plurality of first periods, irrespective of the specification of a period for collection data computation, and a period collection data creation part for creating collection data in the specified period in response to a period specification for collection data computation according to the cumulative data created by the cumulative data creation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
