<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise selling system for enabling the user of a mail order to easily take three procedures, the order of merchandise, the payment of a price and the reception of the merchandise in a store, and for preventing the problem of the leakage of personal information from being generated. <P>SOLUTION: In a merchandise selling system 1, a merchandise catalog printed with a bar code is presented to the counter of a affiliate store 8, and when the price of merchandise is paid, a merchandise exchange ticket 30 printed with reception PIN is given. The reception PIN is generated and distributed by a management company 2 in response to a request from the affiliate store. Ordered merchandise is delivered from a mail-business company 4 to the affiliate store 8, and stored.
